Position overview

Community Rehabilitation and Support Workers provide a range of rehabilitation and supports to consumers with a particular focus on preparation for the transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Community Rehabilitation and Support Worker – Multiple Positions

  • A number of full time, part time and casual positions are available – all options will be of variable duration and are anticipated to be around 3 to 6 months with a review.
  • For part-time and casual roles there will be an option to negotiate the times and days of employment
  • We want people who want to be part of a dynamic and reflective team environment
  • We want people who can provide direct and meaningful support to our consumers

We are looking for people who can work flexibly across the following four Neami locations if needed:

  • Ringwood
  • Croydon
  • Kew
  • Blackburn

What will you bring to the role?

Flexibility, with the capacity to be available at short notice

Relevant experience in a similar role

Ability and willingness to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of complex mental health issues and an understanding of the recovery model

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

Essential requirements:

Current Working with Children Check

Driver’s licence

Police check (refer to PD) – disclosable outcomes considered
