About the Active8 programs

Peer Health Coaching involves a lived experience of recovery providing coaching and support to an individual around their physical health.  Peer Health Coaches are trained in the delivery of health coaching and understand the challenges of making physical health behaviour changes when living with a mental illness.

Eat Plant Learn consists of seven structured sessions that supports participants to learn about healthy eating and to gain skills in growing and cooking food.

Active8 is supported by COORDINARE – South Eastern NSW PHN under the Primary Health Networks Programme - an Australian Government initiative.
