The Youth Residential Rehabilitation Service is a therapeutic recovery program set within a residential setting for young people aged 16 to 25. Individuals are able to reside on-site while undertaking this program for up to 12 months.
Neami works with young people to develop their capacity to manage and be responsible for their behaviour and self-care, to enhance their adaptive coping skills, develop daily living skills, and to improve their ability to live independently in the community.
This program also assists individuals to develop and maintain links with the community, family and social networks, educational and vocational opportunities.
Our Victorian Youth Residential Rehabilitation Services are funded through the Victorian Government Mental Health Community Support Services/MHCSS)
The eligibility criteria varies for our different programs. Please contact this service to discuss whether our programs are suitable for you.
Referrals can be made by individuals, carers, families, mental health professionals or other health care providers.
Referrals must be discussed with the individual prior to making the referral.
We encourage referrals from people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, youth and refugees.
