The garden received a revamp
Noble Park gardens gets a makeover and makes the local news

The back garden at our Noble Park Youth Residential Rehabilitation (YRR) recently received a revamp, with staff, resident young people and the local Bunnings all chipping in.

The fence got a bright, multi-coloured fresh lick of paint and everyone helped to landscape the garden and plant some nice green plants and shrubs.

The young people staying at the facility picked the design.

Noble Park’s resident therapy chickens are loving the new digs.

The Star Journal, a local news publication, published an article about the makeover and interviewed Peer Support Worker Emma Grose. Emma says in the article: “It’s totally just picked the space up…we run a lot of groups and meetings and have one-to-one sessions in the garden areas.”

Tahlia, one of the young people staying at Noble Park, reflected on the new garden. “I am loving what our garden is becoming. I feel that I can go to the garden and my world will be a touch brighter. I feel like it is becoming such a safe space,” she said.
